The witch Elsa is subjected to the second stage of torture, which involves stretching her muscles. The stretching is so intense that it causes her arms, legs, abdomen, and back to become taut like a string. However, even this intense pain fails to convince the witch to renounce her faith, prompting the monk to resort to the use of a whip. Eventually, Elsa is stretched so much that she loses consciousness due to the pain.
