After wearing a breathplay hood with no breathing hole, she did a plank plus rest without taking off the hood, and repeated this for two more times. The set time for each group increased gradually. In the last round, the timer for rest was wrongly set as counting up instead of counting down. Poor Xiaoyu was waiting for the alarm beep when the countdown ends, which will never happen. When I discovered that error, Xiaoyu had already collapsed on the ground, her lips turned purple, and she was twitching slightly… Next was a set of squats for more than two minutes. Although panting heavily, Xiaoyu still finished it successfully. Before the next exercise, she needed a good rest, so I cuffed her hands to her same-side ankles, and tied a collar around her neck over the hood, so that she can’t take the hood off by herself. There were three rounds of rest, and the set time increased from 2 minutes to 3.5 minutes. However, Xiaoyu obviously wanted to take a longer rest, and she persisted for 4 minutes and 15 seconds in the last round and made quite some noise at the end. Then there are two sets of sit-ups, each to complete 20 sit-ups and a rest of more than 1.5 minutes without removing the hood. Finally came the most exciting escape challenge of this video. Xiaoyu was box-tied with her hands behind her back and wearing the breathplay hood with no hole. A collar was put around her neck and locked. The key was thrown to a corner of the room. Xiaoyu must first sit in a chair for one minute, then break her hands free, find the key on the floor, unlock the collar, remove the collar, and finally take off the hood. Let’s review the challenge process through the following post-event interview. ―I: You were calm in the first minute. ―Xiaoyu: I had to save the air. It was not difficult to break my hands free. Someone suggested sealing the nose and mouth with tape first, then vacuum-sealing the whole body. I replied at the time that this would probably be quite a rush, but it sounded fun to try. Months passed, and I almost forgot about it, until Xiaoyu-senpai stumbled upon that old post. She seemed even more excited than I was and suggested we give it a try. Together, we discussed the details. For example, she would wear a zentai suit, with her head completely wrapped in electrical tape, leaving only a slit at the nose for breathing. After entering the vacuum bag, another strip of tape would be used to seal the nose slit. One end of this tape would be folded over slightly, and the length of the fold would determine how hard it would be to peel it off. On top of that, the zentai suit would reduce her fingertip sensitivity, adding to the difficulty. To make things even more challenging, we decided to see what would happen if she wore latex mittens over her hands. Lastly, we wanted to test what it would feel like if she wore a swim cap over the tape-covered face. Everyone was so excited that we went to bed early, eager to try it out the next day. The next morning, I woke up groggily and got out of bed to wash up. While looking around the room, a sudden realization struck me: Xiaoyu, where are you?!

Depending on how the cling film was stretched and how many layers it was applied, Xiaomeng had from small to smaller gaps to breathe. Scene 3: Xiaomeng change to a latex hood with openings at eyes, nostrils and mouth. An inflatable gag was fastened into her mouth. After multiple pumps the gag had been inflated so big that she can hardly breathe, not even through her nose. Scene 4: Finally, I decided to give her a little bit air to rebreathe. A silicon swim cap was put over her face, which formed a tiny air chamber. She can reuse this little air, but the gap between the swim cap and the latex hood was so small, and she was already so tired, that she didn’t have power to suck in any fresh air anymore from outside.
