Anyway, it was quite interesting to walk like that, until my air ran out…” Experiment 2: Quilt How does it feel when one is compressed with a quilt in a vacuum bag? Xiaoyu tried that also a few times between two layers of the quilt (like a sandwich!) and one last time on top of the quilt. Xiaoyu: “I felt much more comfortable when I was enclosed by the quilt instead of the plastic directly. It was soft and a little bit elastic. However, the carbon dioxide I breathed out just accumulated in the quilt around my face and didn’t diffuse, so I felt stifling already at quite an early stage…”
