Chapter 2 revisits the horrific murders that occurred in the Belloti home a couple months prior. The detective working the case, Lt. Carol Reddit is at her desk going over crime scene photos of the killings, which are baffling authorities. The accused killer has been found, thinking it was the husband, but once he is in custody, the same type of scenario happens at a boutique in a quaint strip mall in Southern California.
